Newborn Preparation Guide
Thank you for choosing me to photograph your little one!
Here are a few tips to help the photoshoot go as smooth as possible:

-
Please try and keep your little one awake for an hour before the shoot, feel free to give them a bath to keep them up and wear them out.

-
Wait to feed till you arrive at the studio, once you arrive we will undress and feed so baby's tummy is nice and full and ready for sleepy time. If you are open to bottle feeding, bring a bottle. That way we know baby is full and ready for their photoshoot 🙂

-
The session can take a few hours, depending on how well baby sleeps so plan on a few feedings and a chunk of time in the studio. Avoid scheduling doctor's appt, etc.

-
It will be warm in the studio to keep baby happy. Sessions can be anywhere from 2 to 3 hours long so please be prepared for that.

-
Bring a pacifier even if baby doesn't take one yet, it will help soothe baby into poses, plan on extra diapers and wipes as babies can be messy. Don't panic if your little one makes a mess as we can all be a little messy sometimes.

-
If you would like to incorporate something special into your photoshoot, have specific colors, a certain set up or pose you would like feel free to message me before your shoot and we can arrange it!

-
I have all the props, wraps, and headbands in studio so all you need to bring is a sleepy baby.

-
If you are having your photo taken with baby I suggest you wear neutral colors (Whites, tans, blues, browns) and solids.
